The birth of the cult of Dioscuri

The series of presented works on the theme of astragalus, consist sculptures made as sculptural practice based on constantly present elements of dice game, as specially established symbols of childhood which have been, by the decision process and choice, constantly defining the flow of children’s game and it’s and results. Dice is one of the oldest symbols of this kind and this is why this whole work is placed in its historical pantheon of values of creation and characteristics which as such possesses. The sculptures are made of metal and assumed way of their exposure is that they can be moved by visitors and children during the exhibition. Dimensions are 150 cm height, which are by the aspect of identification within the game process related with the height of a child, whose age perception of symbols this work indirectly treat. At the same time it is important to mention that this cycle of works is in direct correlation with the cycle of works entitled "Cult DIOSCURI". Both cycles were created in the five-year period from 1998 to 2003.
